Known issues that are currently causing problems for members include:

• Validation e-mail not sent?: If you just registered (welcome!) and have not received your validation e-mail yet, please be sure to add noreply@couchsurfing.com to your address book so our messages don't get "confiscated"! Then try requesting the validation e-mail again. If you still don't receive it, select the category "Registration Problems" from the drop-down menu below and don't forget to tell us your username.



• Recently stopped receiving messages from us? Please make sure that your privacy settings are set appropriately. Then be sure to add noreply@couchsurfing.com to your address book or follow your email provider's instructions to whitelist us!



• Problems with your reply %: Please check the information on the wiki before contacting us! Thanks!



• Problems sending messages to other members: If you've tried contacting another member through CS but don't see any messages in your Sent Messages folder, please make sure you entered a subject line. Messages will NOT be sent with a blank subject line!



• Photo uploads: There are ongoing occasional issues with photo uploads. If you have tried uploading a photo and you received an error message or it doesn't appear on your profile, please just try it again later. Also, many folders are currently "missing". Fear not, they should come back eventually!



• Meeting invitations: Invitations to meetings can currently be sent to CouchSearch results only for searches that return 300 members or fewer. This is a temporary restriction until the search function can be further optimized to avoid database crashes.



• CouchSearch: The "Search in my groups", "Keyword", "Name" and radius ("within xx km/miles") filters are not working.
