Couch Available: Maybe Preferred Gender: Any Max Surfers Per Night: 3
Shared Sleeping Surface: No Shared Room: YesIs this an interesting profile? I live close to the airport.
Due to dad's rear naked stroke, I'm taking a break for a few weeks. Away from the world outside, I will finally have time to write (not only my profile) and really get into my long postponed training. I'm going back to Estonia at the end of August, still living my reclusive lifestyle for a while. I can help you online and I may be around for a get together.
I'm such a failure, but I go to the hospital by bicycle at least. Don't donate to CS, IF they pay for THEIR burning man with YOUR money - the sole fact I have to refer to them is not a good sign.
Being unable to host, I start travelling again on August 15 for two weeks. September is for exams. In October, somewhere else again - Estonia, Greece, who knows. Until December.
Help: looking for the French-produced film Qui êtes-vous, Monsieur Sorge? about Soviet spy Richard Sorge.

From Pierre Blondelle Arlon, Belgium Aug 18 Positive Stefano is like a diesel engine. Takes some time to get started, but then becomes unstoppable and very reliable.
From Willem Lamont Leuven, Belgium Aug 17 Positive Stefano's an excellent couchsurfer, well travelled, smart & talkative. You won't regret taking him in as a guest, as he has hosted heaps of people himself. Respect.
From Jerome Daniel Paris, France Aug 17 Positive Stefano ended up at my place after too many beers and pekets, and I was glad to host him! He's a calm and nice person but he knows when to drink!
From Agneta Eriksson Oslo, Norway Aug 11 Positive Stefano is such a sweet guy. He showed me and another Canadian girl around Bursaporto and Bergamo, and when I wanted to go to Cremona he came along. See you around! :)
From Nizabat Khan Lund, Sweden Aug 7 Positive Stefano is very nice and friendly guy, it was my first experience of couch surfing and it went really cool, although it was short time, but i really enjoyed time, specially roaming in old part of Bergamo was fantastic.

From Mercedes Fioravanti Santander, Spain Aug 6 Positive Even though I only stayed one night in his house, he took me and other couchsurfers around the city during that night. Really nice and very active couchsurfer. Thank you very much!
From Jurgis Talants Zakumuiza, Latvia Aug 3 Positive 1000 characters???? I don't think that's enough for this guy.
I haven't met him in person, we just met his mom and she's amazing for sure. :) In Latvian there is an expression that "Apple doesn't fall far away from apple tree" so it means that her son should be great, too. :)
When I looked for a couch I thought about at least few people from our company of 25 will get to sleep somewhere. Accidentally I've asked Stefano "Can you host 25?" He were thinking for a while and then agreed. And that's if you are bearing in mind that he was gone for that day. His trust in us was great, and I hope that we didn't let you down and everything was left as it should be... :)
Thank you very much indeed.. See you in Riga in august.
And thanks for all my choir member stayed at your home.
That was my first couching experience and that went really, amazingly well. :)
Best regards to your mum... :)
From Katrin Ulst Tartu, Estonia Aug 2 Positive Stefano is a very cool guy in his very strange way. He speaks very fast, drives very fast and likes to host a lot of different people at the same time - just to see what happens. We had a weird experience sleeping in his uncle's flat, where we couldn't open the windows, because the neighbours would see:D Anyway, my high recommendations. See you in Tartu.
From Melinda Erdélyi Tapolca, Hungary Jul 30 Positive ..Stefano and his mother, Paola:):), are very very kind..he is helpful, he does everything for his guests what he can..
From Alex White Bury St Edmunds, United Kingdom Jul 30 Positive Stefano - the man that can do anything! A great host, simultaneously welcoming endless streams of guests! Thankyou, see you in England.

And his mum loves CS-ers, too ;)
From VILLATROPIA Bremen, Germany Jul 24 Positive hello stephano, short time, short party, short hillseeingtour and no ice-eating but i hope you have more from the dessert. a dessert was also his couch, in a great big house with a beautiful mother. i liked the weather in bergamo, it is warm and there is no car-smok than in milan. short time but a lot of experiences, i think with more time there were a good base for a funny friendship. thank you for the couch! and take sometime a break for your self! 100% from me for you, daniel
From Edita Belgrade, Serbia Jul 21 Positive Spending time with Stefano was fun, especially if u enjoy in fast ''italian style'' driving :) He has crazy CS spirit,he's funny and with some interesting goals in his life.Lots of greetings to ur mom too and her delicious cooking :)

From Michael Loison Cerisiers, France Jul 15 Positive Stefano made me visit Bergamo. I spent very good time walking in Bergamo & hanging out in the evening with him! He's very welcoming (like the other CouchSurfers) but had a very interesting & uncommon opinion about CouchSurfing! xD! So, I really recommend with funny guy (and his very nice & good cook mum')! See you next time in Milan!

From Sarah Russwurm Trier, Germany May 24 Positive Actually it’s really hard leaving a reference for Stefano because I could easily write something down for the next few hours.
We met in Milano during my 4 months stay; of course we’ve seen each other at a lot of parties/meetings. During one of them I talked with Felix (great Couchsurfer from Canada) about going to Venice the next day. Stefano just said: “Why wait till tomorrow, let’s go now, I have my car here” So we really went at one o’clock at night from Milano to Venice, it was such an amazing day! And it was really one of the highlights of my time in Italy, thank you so much for that.
Seems as he became something like my driver, a few weeks later he was the one who drove 3 other Surfers and me to the airport after another typical Milan-CS-Party. We had Proseco at 6 o’clock in the morning waiting for my plane to leave.
Now we met again by chance at the Berlin Beach Camp ’08 and had a really great time together talking, hanging around, drinking and cooking.
It’s so rare to meet such an incredibly spontaneous and adventures person like Stefano and I really hope to seem him soon again (what I will do for sure) and I wish him all the best!
From Tanut Roojipiyaruk Khon Kaen, Thailand May 19 Positive Stefano is very nice and cool person!! He's also easygoing and funny!! We had a great time chatting, drinking and playing together on the last night of the berlin beach camp! Also, met him accidentally after we left BBC and he also let me carried his backpack which contained lots of necessary thing for him to survive lol!
From Cole Miller Berlin, Germany May 17 Positive Meet very briefly at Beach Camp, but since I was busy didn´t really have the chance to talk.
From Ruby Kuo Taipei, Taiwan May 13 Positive Stefano. He is a friendly and funny guy.
Hope I could see your "kung fu" skill in the future. :-) Good luck on your Chinese learning. Take care. All the best.
From Kwanhatai Jampol Bangkok, Thailand May 3 Positive Met Stefano in Vienna..went out to check Viennese nightlife and checked out the town together for a bit. What I remember mostly about Stefano is he always love to tease his good friends and his smiling face :).
From Denis Bilotta Milano, Italy Apr 18 Positive Stefano is a nice, quiet, smart guy with loads of interests. He's one of the most active guy in CS. and is a skilled photographer too!! if you'll have the chance to meet him you'll find an interesting and richful person..highly recommended!
From Guna Petrova Riga, Latvia Apr 14 Positive SO i finally was able to meet my dear brother from Italy and we have nice family photo :D
He has a great aura around him. It was nice to chat with him. I'm looking forward to have a chance to talk to him more. :D
Keep up Bro! :) Don't let down the guy from New Zealand :D
We are family :D
From Flapic Rome, Italy Apr 13 Positive We met several times around Italy and shared the same host once. Stefano is an extremely helpful and valuable component of our local team and we'll definitely miss him now that he's leaving Italy. Good luck!

From Katie Diggs Sammamish, United States Apr 4 Positive Stefano picked me up from the airport and showed me around Bergamo while I had to wait for my flight to leave the next early (really early!) to Porto. He gave me a nice tour of the city, his mother fed me some food and we went out for dinner and drinks with his friends. It was really nice hanging out with him! Good luck with all of your adventures, and how did your mother take the news when you told her you were moving to Estonia??
From Vincent Le Hiress Quimper, France Apr 3 Positive I met Stefano during my trip by hitch-hiking in Northern Italy. He was really a good host. We shared a good dinner (Thanks a lot to your mother too, for her kindness), and after a short visit of Brusaporto surroundings, where he lives near from Bergamo, we went with nice friends of him to have drinks in Bergamo center. The day after, he kindly picked me up to the train station. Thanks for all Stefano!
From Jad + Marika Lian Helsinki, Finland Apr 2 Positive Stefano and his parents were excellent host . he was our first couch surf experience in Italy and was really a nice guy and was good help in the first day of our trip. I and Marika wish him all the best in Estonia and maybe in the future in his traveling trips. good luck traveler !
From Séverine Berberat Rafz, Switzerland Mar 27 Positive It was a nice to be in Bergamo. I enjoyed the time I passed with him"very much, although I not always understood what he was speaking about, because I'm not so good at English. He was really nice he met me at the station. He was really open-mind and funny.
From Marcel Staub Walchwil, Switzerland Mar 26 Positive Stefano let me stay for a night at his place near Bergamo. We had a drink with his friends and a great breakfast the next morning.
From Thomas Camenisch Zurich, Switzerland Mar 25 Positive With Stefano it is possible to talk about anything, he is friendly and easy going. Uh, I hope you'll do your bike trip around the world and will couchsurf a lot on the way.
Edit: Passing Bergamo on a short bike trip I got in touch with Stefano and he was so kind to invite me to surf his couch (actually, more it is more a bed than a couch). We spent a few hours with his jolly friends and Stefano accompanied me for a few kilometers the next day riding my heavy bike. If I start a trip around the world I'll let you know for sure. All my best wishes for your start in Tartu!
From Ece Deniz Toros Izmir, Turkey Mar 25 Positive Very helpful, kind, easy going, fun, sincere and considerate person with a lot of positive energy! I really can't find anything about him that I did not like:) He was our first host and how fortunate we are that he was a true couchsurfer! Someone who truly believes in the couchsurfing project and lose his heart to it! Too bad that it is not possible to list everything that he did for us.. He picked us from the airport, showed us the city and feed us with the delicious Italian pizza and gelatos! Gave us a double bedded room and made us feel at home by providing a great company in our first night in Italy. His mother was also very nice too (hope the henna had worked:) He even helped us finding hosts from other cities!! Thanks a lot for everything (except my funny Cocabuton picture:)! For sure, we will see each other again soon!!
edit: We met him in Paris again, it is a shame that he had to leave so early. Thanks for introducing us to the Paris group, we had a great time during the meeting. See you on your birthday and Christmas, which is my birthday:)
edit: I don't know how many edits I will write for Stefano until he writes me a real reference!! I am a true Bergamo citizen now and you know what, I might even move to Bergamo for my masters in Domus:) Thanks for the wonderful Italian lunch and your good company once again! I don't think there is any place in Bergamo that I haven't seen twice:) So I am going there just for Stefano(maybe for the cheap plane ticket and the icecream also:P) I will probably come again to visit 'the holy three balls church'(!) and to get blessed.. Sorry that I couldn't come to London to see the bloody fighters (thanks God!:) and you should be sorry that you missed the legendary belly dancing dinner!!
edit: Stefano came to Istanbul for Istanbul Winter Camp and stayed with me, great memories and very fun times and of course, the pleasure of seeing an old friend... I taught him how to use "The Secret", he taught me how to speak Italian on the never-ending bus trips in Istanbul... We went to Ankara too! I know that we'll meet again, possibly somewhere in Turkey or Estonia or Italy or another city:P CS causes you to make great friendships with the people that you would never ever would meet otherwise. I'm very glad that I met Stefano.
From Alper Kanyılmaz Lecco, Italy Mar 18 Positive Stefano is a very very nice person, I enjoyed my short staying with him a lot. Since I am actually living quite close to his city, I think we will keep in touch(of course you have a long term travel plan soon, however, at least when you come to Italy, ci vediamo!!) He took me to his second home, airport, for my flight to Poland, and we had aperetivo and dinner together, with some other couchsurfers same night, and I stayed in his house. I am really happy to know him, see you again, soon!
From Dietmar Eisenhammer Wiesbaden, Germany Feb 26 Positive What a helpful guy you are: STEFANO. I met this young student at the airport of Bergamo while waiting for my plane to Frankfurt-Hahn. We went also to the Commercial Center. It was really a pleasure for me to speak and making jokes . With him I met also Veronica a very lovely girl. Stefano, for your studies in law get the best. I hope we will meet us very soon again.
From Zach Dierberg Green Bay, United States Feb 10 Positive Stefano met me at the airport and let me stay at his house for a night. Stefano was amazing. He showed me around the area, took me to a perfect local restaurant, and really made me feel like welcome! He's got a great sense of humor and is really easy to talk to and hang out with. Very trustworthy and I hope he comes to stay at my place soon!!!
From Stanislav Sovietskyi Kiel, Germany Feb 4 Positive It was Bergamo, February 2008. Stefano picked us up at the central station and took care of us during this weekend.
There are so much comments about Stefano and I'm sure it will be more and more. All written is true, he is really nice intelligent guy, a Renessaince man, outstanding ambassador and great guide. I doubt whether I can add something essential to his personality. So I will tell you rather unessential to his environment:
- Don't get into his car, if you are an opponent of brutal treatment with cars!
- Get into his car if you a lover of aggressive sport driving ;).
- Computer takes the central place in his universal. Sitting in his big chair before computer Stefano looks like general in control center :).
- It's a challenge to be quiet in a house with squeaking doors :).
- It's also not easy to get up in time when the shutters in guest room are closed. You suppose six or seven mornings but it is already nine!
- It's obvious that Stefanos parents had a lot of guests: they can explain with all people although they don't know language. My deep respect!
- He might be the person who made the most amount of walks to the uppertown in Bergamo :).
- Remember the right accent: LombardIa, BErgamo, monOdico.
Be careful and take care of him, he is the most valuable treasure of Bergamo! :)
From Marcos Serrão Rio de Janeiro, Brazil Jan 28 Positive Even tired (Stefano had just arrived from Rome), he showed to Freddy and me some really great points of Bergamo and told us some histories about the city. Very nice guy, soon we will have a new couch available also in Estonia =P
From Matteo Mattarello Playa del Carmen, Mexico Jan 26 Positive After 10 minutes he all ready invited me and my girlfriend to surf his couch, I think he really fell the couchsurfing spirit, and he enjoy to share it with the other surfer!

From Andras Foldvari Budapest, Hungary Jan 5 Positive Future austronaut and Rambo XXVII, rolled the red carpet out for me in Milan, cheerful, latent Globetrotter, with great sence of humor, and solid knowlege.

From Lara Aranzulla Milano, Italy Dec 28, 2007 Positive Stefano is a nice and kind boy and I meet also the mam, a lovely and funny woman! In Stefano's house there is a beautiful air!Lara
From Nathan Owens Salt Lake City, United States Dec 25, 2007 Positive I first met Stefano in Krakow, and then he hosted me for a night in Bergamo. I contacted him at the very last minute, and even during the holidays, and he welcomed me into his home. He picked me up at the airport very late at night after my delayed flight, and took me to the train station early the next morning. He was sick the whole time too! I felt bad that you had to do all that Stefano, but you are definitely an awesome host and epitomize what CS is all about. Buona fortuna in Istanbul and with the Estonian project!
