dumpster goodies, farming-ranching-gardening, treehouses, old growth redwood lumber, building, building community, creating home space, NVC, wildcrafting housemates, being radical and Radical, WWOOFers, sewing, tea (32 flavors and then some), plants, communication as a practice not a concept, dreaming of going feral, roadkill, free skool, skill share, processing food cooking food over woodfire, sharing food eating food preserving food, being Queer (not queer as in gay queer as in fuck you CISy), learning our cultural norms and about them and from them, learning to live together like animals for the first time in our lives, audio books, finding out our needs, changing them and seeing how to meet them sustainably, simplifying, connecting, providing for community, Egalitarianism (theFEC.org).

Music, Movies, and Books

Anything by Derrick Jensen, Deschooling Society, Grassroots Post-Modernism, Botany in a Day, Non-Violent Communication, A people's history of the United States... Magazines: Orion, AdBusters, Slingshot, Taproot.
We often listen to records in the house which means classic rock and bluegrass.
We occasionally watch documentaries or a Miyazaki film.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

seen housemate drive to ride in Critical Mass. Now that was pretty fucking amazing.
