Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To live life to the fullest and help others along the way.
ABOUT ME
I'm a Northern Californian, born and raised. My highest priority in life right now is to achieve ultimate freedom in being able to live and work anywhere in the world, and being able to afford to get around and enjoy the vast diversity of people, experiences, skills, and paradigms this planet has to offer.
PHILOSOPHY
I truly believe we only live once, and so you have to make the most of it, whatever that means to you. To me, it means choosing awesome but realistic goals and constantly striving towards them while balancing this with making sure you're enjoying yourself as much as possible along the way. It's the journey, not the destination, but a journey without a good plan and continuous self-checkins won't get more fun as you go (and usually craps out at some point)!!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I surf and host. I have always loved both ideas: 1) leveraging the internet to bring together people who are essentially trustable and good-natured (e.g. craigslist), and 2) indulging (not just idealogically agreeing, but actual indulgence) in the experiences and variety that only meeting new people can bring into our lives.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I started couchsurfing in 2010 in Southern California. I've surfed and hosted there and in San Francisco. I did airbnb for a while, and now I see that couchsurfing is still alive and well. Would love to meet people from anywhere checking out New York! :)
