ABOUT ME

I love to laugh and have fun. I am definitely a free spirited person that dreams big. My grandmother used to always call me a gypsy because I moved around so much. I did that just because I didn't like things the same ole same ole all the time. I am a very loyal, honest, caring person and I'm excited about getting out and surfing myself one day very soon.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am a big kid and find everything very fascinating and exciting! I never wanna grow up!! I might talk your ear off if you let me so if you are tired and just want to rest, please make sure to let me know so I can show you where you can do that. So far I have only surfed once but have hosted many.

Last summer I actually worked for a touring company here in Rapid City and learned so much about the area that I didn't know and started DRIVING tours myself. IF you are needing a tour, I can hook you up. lol It was an amazing experience and I think I want to do more in the future.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had the absolute best experiences ever. I have met so many interesting and wonderful people through couch surfing; however, I need time to get my house in order so I am taking a little time off from hosting so I can get it the way I'd like. You can always send a request and if things work out I can give you a place to lay your head but for the most part I have to stop for a little bit.

Interests

Shooting pool, poetry, taking pictures, the beach, live music, comedy shows, traveling, meeting new people and so much more! I love the area where I live in the beautiful Black Hills and I am very excited to share it with others and experience travels through others eyes until I am able to do it myself. I have a soft spot for the elderly and children. I have done volunteer work for the Club for Boys for many years as well as just started with the Meals on Wheels program for the elderly.

Music, Movies, and Books

Hmmm...there are so many. Music I love almost every kind. It depends on my mood at the time. I guess favorites are Remy Shand, Avant, KEM, Keith Sweat and Carl Thomas. AS for movies, anything funny! Bridesmaids comes to the top of my head but there are so many good movies out there.

I moved to Atlanta GA with 4 kids and $350 in my pocket!

I love sharing Mt Rushmore and Crazy Horse, two of only six carvings in the world, right here in the Black Hills of South Dakota with travelers.
