ABOUT ME

I've recently got back to the UK from a year living in Vancouver and still can't help using Canadian expressions over English ones. Calling gas 'petrol' just doesn't seem right anymore...

PHILOSOPHY

The world is like a ride in an amusement park and when you choose to go on it you think it's real because that's how powerful our minds are. And the ride goes up and down and around and around and it has thrills and chills and it's very brightly coloured and it's very loud. And it's fun - for a while. Some people have been on the ride for a long time, and they begin to question; is this real? Or is this just a ride? Couchsurfed in Tokyo, Munich, Sarajevo and Vancouver. Hosted in Bristol. All good so far!

Interests

Any adventure excites me - traveling somewhere new, meeting someone interesting, discovering something that inspires. I've had an obsession with mountains since I was a kid so I like to snowboard in the winter and mountain bike in the summer. Otherwise, when I'm in the city I'm all about live music or hanging out with my friends.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Watching sunrise in Hampi from the hilltop Monkey Temple and sunset from the Rongbuk Monastery at Everest would be joint highlights of my travels so far. Having to walk through the middle of a riot in Kathmandu still wearing my backpack was also pretty interesting!
