About Me

We're Rodrigo and Adrián, a loving couple who've been together for an amazing 11 years. Our shared passion for travel has taken us to various corners of the world, allowing us to meet incredible people and immerse ourselves in diverse cultures. Whether it's the bustling streets of a vibrant city or the serene landscapes of a remote village, we're always excited to explore new destinations and make meaningful connections along the way.

Professionally, I (Rodrigo) work as a Marketing Consultant, while Adrián is an entrepreneur with a keen eye for new opportunities and business ventures. Our careers have given us the flexibility to travel and experience different cultures, which we cherish deeply.

We pride ourselves on being super open-minded, light-hearted, and easy to talk to. Sharing stories, experiences, and laughter with people from all walks of life is something we genuinely enjoy. Our Couchsurfing journey has not only enriched our travel experiences but also allowed us to provide a safe and welcoming space for fellow travelers looking to explore our beautiful country.

We believe that our references speak volumes about who we are, as we trust that people describe us better than we could describe ourselves. We invite you to read them and get a sense of what it's like to stay with us.

Understanding that travel can sometimes be about stretching every dollar, we're super flexible and totally get it if you're just looking for a comfortable place to rest on a budget. Transparency is key, so as long as you're upfront about your needs, we're more than happy to accommodate.

In June 2020, we made the move to Querétaro city due to the pandemic. We now reside in a residential area within a cluster, about 20-25 minutes from downtown by car. Our home features a cozy guest room with its own bathroom, providing a comfortable and private space for our visitors.

Last but not least, we share our home with a small/medium dog named Xico who's incredibly calm and quiet. He's a part of our family and adds a touch of warmth and joy to our home.

We look forward to meeting you and sharing our love for travel, culture, and good conversation!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Adrián and I grew up in families with limited means. But that didn't stop us from dreaming big. We love exploring new places and meeting people from all over the world.

Couchsurfing has been a game-changer for us. It's helped us travel more than we ever thought possible. Through Couchsurfing, we've met amazing people who've shared their homes and stories with us. They've taught us so much about different cultures and ways of life.

We believe that everyone should have the chance to travel, no matter their background or how much money they have. Traveling shouldn't be just for people who are well-off. It should be for everyone who wants to see new places and meet new people.

Hosting travelers has been a lot of fun for us. We enjoy sharing our home and our city with guests. It's a way for us to give back and help others who might be struggling to travel on a tight budget.

So, we're on Couchsurfing to give back and help others explore the world. We want to make travel easier and more accessible for everyone.

Interests

Adrián and I are big foodies! We love trying new dishes and exploring different cuisines. Whether it's a local street food or a fancy restaurant, we're always eager to taste something new.

Coffee is another passion we both share. We're crazy about it! Whether it's a strong espresso or a creamy latte, we love starting our day with a good cup of coffee.

As for me, beer is one of my favorite things. I enjoy trying out different types of beer and discovering new flavors. It's always fun to find a new favorite brew.

Hosting people is something we both enjoy a lot. Our home is always open to friends, family, and travelers alike. We love creating a welcoming atmosphere and making everyone feel at home.

We also enjoy having both fun and deep conversations with our friends. Whether we're discussing our latest travel adventures or sharing our thoughts on life, we love connecting with people on a meaningful level.
