About Me

A big change happened in my working life recently and I got the privilege of having every second week off. That means more time and space to meet new people and to travel… so here I am.

I am originally from Bosnia and Herzegovina, but I have been living in Bremen for five years now. Trough learning German and spending time here, I was able to get to know interesting stories and places about/in Bremen. If you´re staying at my place and I have enough time, I would gladly share my excitement about the city and show you around.

In my former life in Bosnia i was a literature teacher. Now I work as Emergency Medical Technician on standby from my home but passion and interest in art are still there.

I like nature and hiking and that is one of the main reasons why I often travel back to Bosnia. Bremen is full of greenery, parks and beautiful places, but the Balkan landscapes are simply breathtaking.
The second reason why I keep traveling back to Bosnia is the food. Don´t get me wrong… I like to cook (mostly international) but for some things that my mother makes, I have neither the patience nor the “technical skills”. Bearing that in mind, I still managed to master the preparation of the most famous Bosnian dish. So if you´re into cooking, maybe you get lucky and I share with you the secrets of making Ćevapčići.

I'm a calm person by nature and I don't like crowded places unless there's a band playing that I enjoy listening to. I´m not into clubbing or long night parties. I could recommend you some places but there is a good chance I wouldn´t be joining you.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Lately I got a lot more free time that I want to use traveling, meeting new people and hosting them in my home.
