About Me

Hello! My name is Paulo, a Brazilian native passionate about travel and new experiences. I have a degree in Hotel Management and I’m currently deepening my knowledge with a postgraduate degree in Project Management.

My love for exploring new cultures and making new friends has taken me to various corners of Brazil – from the vast Amazon Rainforest to the majestic waters from Iguaçu Falls, not to mention the iconic Christ the Redeemer and the vibrant Salvador. Each destination has left a unique mark on my journey, enriching my love for the diversity of my country.

Beyond Brazil’s borders, I’ve had the privilege of discovering amazing places like Buenos Aires, Argentina, and La Paz, Bolivia. These cities have not only provided me with unforgettable adventures but also taught me a lot about local life and culture.

On Couchsurfing, I seek not just a place to stay, but a genuine connection with people who share the same adventurous spirit. I’m always excited to have company while exploring the city, be it visiting tourist spots, trying out local cuisine, or simply having a good conversation. I firmly believe that the best parts of a trip are the friendships we make along the way.

If you’re looking for someone to share stories with, learn from, and explore together, you’ve found the right person! Let’s discover what makes each place uniquely special together.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is amazing! Being able to know different places in a collaborative way and being able to help others is a unique experience and I hope that the collaborative economy continues to grow up.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the most remarkable experiences I’ve had was exploring the vast and mystical Amazon Rainforest. Immersing myself in its unparalleled biodiversity and feeling the vitality of nature in its purest form was a transformative experience. Navigating the winding rivers, listening to the chorus of wildlife at dusk and dawn, and learning from local communities about the richness of one of the planet’s most vital ecosystems redefined my connection with the environment.

Teach, Learn, Share

I’m delighted to offer my Couchsurfing hosts and friends an authentic immersion into Brazilian culture. With fluency in Portuguese, I’m excited to share my knowledge of the language, helping those interested in learning or improving their skills in a fun and interactive way. Additionally, I can turn any space into a Brazilian party, teaching samba dancing with the rhythm and joy this iconic dance demands.

My ability to craft the perfect caipirinha promises to add a special touch to our gatherings, combined with the sweetness of brigadeiro, one of Brazil’s most beloved sweets. These culinary experiences provide a taste of Brazil’s rich gastronomy.

Beyond linguistic and culinary skills, I’m a passionate storyteller, ready to take you on a journey through the legends, tales, and curiosities that make Brazil a unique country. From the vastness of the Amazon to the vibrant carnival of Rio de Janeiro, I have many stories to share, promising a true cultural adventure.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I’m always willing to contribute with household chores, offering a helping hand to keep the home in harmony. Additionally, as a photography enthusiast, I would be happy to share my knowledge of capturing images with professional cameras, teaching techniques so that you too can capture moments in a more artistic and professional manner. I hope our time together will be an opportunity for mutual learning and creating lasting memories.
