Meet locals and enjoy a beer with them wherever I go. Also want to play pickup soccer in different places even though I am no good at it.

When hosting, I want people to experience the best time in New Orleans.

ABOUT ME

I work in community development in New Orleans.

I was born in Vietnam but have lived in New Orleans for over 27 years. I'm trying to do some more traveling and meet people from all over the world. In the past few years I've traveled to Asia, South America, and Europe. Just recently came back from a trip to Spain and Portugal.

Growing up in the USA, many people have a fear of traveling, feeling that the world is not a safe place. But my travels so far have dispelled that fear. I've met great people from tons of different countries and have been able to connect with them and have realized that regardless of where you are from, for the most part, we share many things that make us human.

These connections with locals and other travelers are what excite me about traveling, much more so than seeing sights and taking tours.

Some of my favorite travels were when I went to Brazil for the World Cup and when I've met up with people that I've hosted in their home countries. In the near future I plan on doing a round-the-world trip and visiting countries and continents that I have never been to before.

I live with two others in a three bedroom house. If you are OK with staying on a couch then message me. Also, I am interested in meeting up with travelers even if you are not staying at my place.

Went to the World Cup in Brazil which fulfilled a dream of mine for a while. Definitely thinking of going to the next one in Russia.

I typically like to hang out with my guests and show them why I believe New Orleans is an amazing city to visit. I've been trying to learn and read more about the history of the city so I can impart that knowledge to guests.
