About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Searching for the wardrobe that would take me to Narnia
ABOUT ME
I love watching sitcoms, inane documentaries and biographies and the same news over and over again. If I hear some music that I like, I listen to it on repeat a thousand times or until I hate it (whichever happens earlier)
I'm of the belief that you should live to eat rather than eat to live. I love cooking without a recipe and so far, I haven't killed anyone or burnt down my apartment
I'm a hobby slut and move through hobbies as fast as a race car driver goes through the gears. I go through so many hobbies that I end up being mediocre at all of them. My only constant ones for the last couple of years have been photography and blogging
I can be incredibly geeky and talk about technology, computers, SciFi and video games for hours on end. I can watch History channel for hours without changing the channel
PHILOSOPHY
It is better to die a hero than to live long enough to be the villain
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm working most of the weekdays, but I'm always open to a quiet evening of drinks and good time on a weeknight
On weekends, it'd be great to travel and explore around town or just head out of town for a nice drive and discover some great food or just hang out
I'm always open to opening up my home if you ever need to crash on my couch. I'd preferably like to know a little bit in advance, although, if you need an emergency couch, I wouldn't mind entertaining you
I love driving long distances and if you ever need someone to drive with, I could be up for it
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've met the most funnest, craziest, weirdest and coolest people on CouchSurfing
A little bit at a time, each one of them has changed my view of the world for the better and I now have a much more open and realistic view of the parts of the world that I have not seen
Interests
I'm a voracious reader. Give me a good book and I'll keep myself busy until it's done!
Apart from that I really enjoy cooking. What started off as a means of survival, is now a major hobby and I try to cook various cuisines from around the world
I enjoy non-hardcore levels of outdoor activities like biking, skiing, hiking and I'm always up to try new stuff

Music, Movies, and Books
Godfather is my go-to movie... I watch it when I'm happy, sad, frustrated or just bored
I play video games a lot although I'm not a hard core gamer and usually play sports games and occasionally, some FPS games
My music preference has gone through its natural progression from indian music to western pop, soft rock, hard rock, heavy metal, hip hop. I finally seem to have found my equilibrium with classic 90s and some blues rock
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Watching U2 live in Concert at Qwest Field, Seattle
Zorbing in Gatlinburg, TN
Skydiving over Florida Keys
Here's a little video that I made of that experience http://youtu.be/lC_yQtJfQOU
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm pretty good at cooking Indian food and would love to teach people how to cook Indian food and at the same time, I'd love to learn how to cook other cuisines from around the world
