Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I like the community feel of Couchsurfing and think it's a great way to get a local's viewpoint when I travel. Atlanta has a great community of active surfers and hosts and is easily one of my fave social scenes here.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Domestic
I kept having to go to Des Moines for work, so I decided to get to know the state of Iowa to make the travel more bearable. Found myself a team to do RAGBRAI - a bike ride across ~500 miles from the Iowa/Nebraska border to the Iowa/Illinois border that ran for almost 50 years - riding a converted municipal bus from Chicago to Council Bluffs then Quad Cities area back to Chicago, cycling, drinking, communing, and camping through small town America.
International
Took a 2 am train to Agra and got a stomach ache from politely from the cheap whiskey I politely from our private driver the night before in Jaipur. Ended up pooping my pants at the train station, but had my bags available to to change and trash the poopy pants. Found a tour guide to help me learn about the temple, take pictures, and cheer me up. I looked like a sullen teenager on family vacation in my initial pictures in front of the Taj Mahal because I was getting over being sick. It ended up being a great day with a great adventure on to Delhi.
