I'm a radical [non-TERF] anti-capitalist feminist herbalist-in-training Asatru magic practitioner Scorpio Italian-American.

By day I work from home as a transcriptionist and take classes at the local community college in preparation to obtain a PhD in psychology. By night I volunteer at the local rape crisis center, work with a bunch of communists and anarchists to right wrongs in our community, read tarot and drink a lot of wine.

I adore meeting new people, so I'll probably adore you.

My home is dedicated safe space away from racists, sexists, classists, transmisogynists, evangelists, etc.

I live with my partner [he/him/his] and our cat [does shed, sorry allergy havers!] in a two bedroom fourplex in the College Station area.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love the anti-state anti-capital aspects of Couchsurfing. You need a place to stay? I have a place! Let's share the place together for a few nights. That being said, I love trading skills and hearing stories with my surfers, but please do not feel like you have to bring gifts or give me a whole lesson in banjo picking or cook a big meal or anything. If you want to that will be so fun, but sometimes you just need a place to crash while you go to a million meetings or a conference or wait for a bus to come into town and that is perfectly fine, too.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm cruising through a post-rock mood, although killer butch girl punk will always own my heart. The same goes for my taste in novels, but really anything I can wrap my brain around for an afternoon appeals to me. Currently reading, "Disaster Capitalism" by Andy Lowenstein, "Assassin's Blade" by Sarah Maas, and "Circe's Lament: Wild Women Poetry" eds. Bianca Spriggs et al.

Mad Max: Fury Road is my favorite movie ever and otherwise I think most of it is flash and bang distraction.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiking through Kapadokya in Turkey alone. The power of the place is staggering and I found a lot of strength in myself those long, hot, dusty days.
