About Me
Philosophy
travel so as not to escape from life, if not so that life does not escape you
my name is Angie Carolina soler, but I don't like to be called angie, I am 26 years old, I am from the beautiful country of Colombia, from the wonderful capital Bogota, but I have a cat, it is called sheldon (if you don't like cats do not write to me ). I am one of those Colombians who dance to a commercial, who enjoy every artistic space, and who loves to know the history, culture and architecture of other countries like their own.
(I don't speak much English, I always help with the translator, so understand me if my messages are not the best but I do my best)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Traveling educates you through life experience, the exchange of ideas and contact with people with an open mind and an open heart. However, accessing other places and cultures in a capitalist world is quite difficult. The Couchsurfing community manages to overcome its obstacle and create a network with only one currency: human goodness
1. "Once a year go somewhere you have never been before" (Dalai Lama)
2. "A good traveler has no fixed plans or intention to arrive" (Lao Tse)
3. “Traveling involves sacrificing some comfort, something that can be as imperfect as staying still at home” (in 101 Places)
4. “The days are not remembered, the moments are remembered” (Cesare Pavese)
5. “There are no foreign lands. The traveler is the only one who is strange "(Robert Louis Stevenson)
6. "Ask yourself if what you are doing today brings you closer to the place where you want to be tomorrow" (J. Brown)
7. "A trip is measured in friends, not miles" (Tim Cahill)
8. “Traveling teaches tolerance” (Benjamin Disraeli)
9. "There is nothing like going back to a place that has not changed, to realize how much you have changed" (Nelson Mandela)
10. "After all, what we could call" travel contagion "is ultimately an incurable disease." (Kapuscinski)
