Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I registered here months ago and completely forgot about it. While I’ve never used this particular site, I have had luck with a similar group on another website. Also had the good fortune to meet (and crash with) several long distance Instagram friends throughout my travels. My plan is to visit France this week, so I’m hoping to find accomodations for two nights. I could stay in a hostel, but I’ve visited some dodgy places that left a bad taste in my mouth.

Music, Movies, and Books

Oh goodness! I like anything that makes me feel. Tend to lean toward the more obscure musically. Typically when I name bands, the reaction is “Sorry, who?”

I prefer films at the cinema and Netflix at home (especially British comedy like Peep Show and Fleabag). Favorite series ever was Six Feet Under. Zadie Smith’s On Beauty is my kind of book. Love podcasts like Marc Maron’s WTF.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I’m not sure how this part works (Sorry, I’m really clueless about this site). I guess tell me what you need and what your expectations are? I’m always prepared to do the dishes and help with the cleaning up. I’m a social but soft spoken, tidy person and am always considerate of my surroundings. Also I don’t drink alcohol, which Europeans generally find odd. Ha!
