Born a snow baby in Kingston, Canada, grew up first in Toronto, then Pietermaritzburg, KZN in South Africa, then Perth in Western Australia, then back and forth with some stops in Coventry. Traveled a lot in childhood, continue to do so when I have the time, chance and money. Lived a year outside of Barcelona, during which I improved my Spanish from non-existent to solidly mediocre. Now working and living in London.

I listen to anything but particularly enjoy the local Perth scene; Spacey Jane, Methyl Ethel, Stella Donnelly, among others. I also like indie, folk, and classical music.

I like Sorrentino, Godard, Noe, Cuaron, Coppola-anything with pretentious subtitles.

Books- too many to name. I like all kinds of poetry- favourites are Robert Hass, Tennyson, Louise Gluck, and Octavio Paz.
