About Me

*men don't text me being weird this is not a dating app plus I'm lesbian so I don't know how to help you, bye 💃*
HELLO!

Hello! I'm a 22 years old girl from Italy. I graduated in Anthropology a few months ago and I'm now planning to move to Berlin, where I'd like to spend the next years. I speak italian, english, french and spanish, and I hope I can learn a bit of german soon.
My goal is to spend this year working and exploring the city to then apply for my master studies (which I think will be in Religious Sciences seen through an historical, anthropological and gender involved poit of view).
I'm trying to find both a job and a house in Berlin but it's difficult to do everything while I'm living in another state: that's why I find couchsurfing an interesting and helpful tool.
With some help from likeminded people who enjoy sharing their couch and their experiences finding what I'm looking for might be easier.

WHAT I'M LOOKING FOR

First of all, it could give me the opportunity to visit the city, learn more about neighborhoods, the city life etc... so that I can have some information on that. Secondly, staying in Berlin would give me the opportunity to leave my CV to bars, café and other places where I could potentially work. Last but not least, I'm a very social person and I'm looking forward to always meeting new people; I enjoy people's company a lot (even though I too need some moments to rest and spend some time by myself) and I costantly crave new stimulus.

WHAT I LIKE (THE MOST)

I like talking to people, learn more about them, their passions, their life, and I'm a big fan of conversations in front of coffees and beers.
I usually don't have problems getting along with others and I'd do anything to make one feel safe and at ease... my friends and ex-roomates would strongly agree.
I would describe myself as a very outgoing and curious person: I never stop doing the things that I like, I love being socially active around people, I am not afraid of jumping into new situations and I'm very aware of myself. I like being surrounded by people I can trust and from where I can learn things; I think the best way to open my mind and feel at peace with myself is being around people, helping them and having a taste of their life: it makes me feel like I'm growing more and more, learning and feeling alive.
I like to cook for others, as cooking has always been one of my biggest passions.
Of course, I'm very keen on anthropology and religions, because of my degree, but I'm also interested in arts, music, crafts and anything creative. I shall not forget to mention that I'm very nerdy about all kinds of vintage music, especially the 80s post-punk, goth and glam metal movements: I could listen to music all day wearing my headphones and doing my tasks!
I love talking about anything regarding feminism, queer history and queer realities, music and movies (especially old horror movies).

IN THE END...
As I already mentioned, finding a house and a job while I'm staying in Italy and I don't even know how the city of Berlin works it's complicated. It would be amazing taking a peek at the city while I'm doing something that I like. I can't wait to move to Berlin, I know I usually never go wrong because I'm stubborn and passionate about anything I put my mind into, but I need a place to start from, so hopefully you can help me with that!
I promise I won't bore you and maybe we'll keep in touch after the couchsurfing experience, but meanwhile I can assure you a big dose of respect, nice homecooked food and good music:)
If you think we'd be a good match or you'd like to know more, write to me! I'd be more than pleased to have a chat.
