☑️ CHILL: It doesn't matter if your request is a copy/paste, not personal or whatever. I do not care about your request I care about the person who does it. And if possible I want to know before hand who you are your plans, etc. An audio in Instagram will do the work. I understand that maybe you are traveling, in a hurry, do not have a proper internet connection... No worries, it only takes a minute.
I know some people complaints about not having a supercool request... If you have traveled yourself and know how traveling can be it is nonsense. So chill as I do not hide a secret word in my profile that you must write if not I won't answer your request or tell you to compulsory read every word in my profile to make you explain in your request things about myself to me (WTF!) 🤦‍♂️ no, I'm not one of those THANK GOD haha , so...relax 😁

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I host people when I'm able and of course I've been hosted several times with a good overall experience and making friends, that still endure today, wherever I have been.

It's been a great experience in general. But, caution, I also had a few bad ones... You can find wrong people, choose carefully, but, normally, they are a minority.

✅PLEASE if you create a profile and receive a request...answer it!
Seems logical but many people doesn't care about answering. So whatever you may say yes, no or maybe...ANSWER to the people making the request! It's a matter of respect between people. If not, why are you here?

After 15 years inside CS and being an active part of it and always representing it in a good way and talking and introducing people to this all around the world...I'm still not verified. Although the good references...It's a shame: if you pay you become verified even with bad reviews. It's ridiculous. Be aware about this.

CS has this "business first" thing. So:

What I Can Share with Hosts

First of all I try to make them feel comfortable. Then I can offer good conversation, sense of humour, good advices, some guitar playing, party, language exchange, and of course SPANISH CULTURE!

Normally, when it is possible, I try to invite to some dinner, lunch or breakfast to my host. I think it is very polite and a way of enjoying something together and say thanks.
