About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To see the forest beyond the trees.
ABOUT ME
I'm a hopeful romantic and a free-spirited wind who loves to watch the sunset. I love the outdoor; so I'm into hiking, spelunking, surfing, diving and swimming. I'm happiest when in flip flops and my idea of a good time is talking about random stuff. I love taking long walks in the beach while picking some random shells or just marvel the amazing colors of the sunset.
I am a sucker of a good and stimulating conversation; travel stories be it good or bad, culture, philosophies or anything under the moonlight.
Watching the stars relaxes me, it gives me the feeling that I am in the right place and doing exactly what I meant to do.
Meeting different people with different culture always inspire me. Their stories never fail to amaze me. And its because of these people I met along the way that I'm traveling now. They are the living example that I'm not alone with this wanderlust. I travel as much as I can and I will travel more as long as I can ;)
PHILOSOPHY
I'm not afraid of something happening to me. I'm more afraid that nothing happens to me. Nothing magical or amazing or breathtaking. I'm more afraid of a life that's not well lived.
One place isn't always necessarily better or worse than another. Often times it's just DIFFERENT.
KINDNESS and LOVE and SMILES and HUGS should never be underestimated.
It's not really the PLACE that makes it a home, but the PEOPLE you are with.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
The first time I tried Couchsurfing was in Singapore with my friend Armand, both of us were pretty new in the Couchsurfing community. The second time I surfed a couch was Jakarta in Nissa's home.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
BBQ in a secluded beach and swimming with glowing planktons under the starry night, and we ended the night partying and skinny dipping ;) The CS Iloilo organized a CS cruise with people from all over the world, that was an epic cruise I will never forget. Giving free hugs in two festivals in the Philippines was both exciting and fulfilling.
Interests
I'm interested to try new things, do things out of the ordinary. Currently I am trying to learn kitesurfing and soon diving. Mountaineering is also one of my passion as well as photography.

Climb Mount Kinabalu on my own and had a tattoo after. Being the only Asian in a British Cruise aboard The Black Pearl in Halong Bay. Tried eating raw mollusks and fried grasshopper. Hitched hike in Brunei. Hiked Everest Base Camp without a guide and porter, only a map :) Slept in the desert of Jaisalmer, India after riding a camel for hours. Travelled around New Zealand in a shoestring budget.
Just recently, I backpacked in South America alone for 5 months with a side trip to Morocco.
