I just recently moved to Greifswald and started my Phd in Biology. Very happy with that choice :D

Interests

Every activity, that I can share with my friends is great, be it singing, dancing, board-games or cooking together.
I enjoy playing the piano, although I don`t spent as much time doing it, as I wish I would. Music in general has a big place in my heart.
Besides that I am a huge book worm, with tons of unread books waiting for me in stacks under my bed. I also love poetry-slams and readings!

And of course I love being in the Nature, getting dirty, watching birds, crawling in the gras and digging in the ground. I have worked with bats for many years and still enjoy being a biologist.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went snorkeling in an underground cave. Tons of stalagtites above and stalagmites below me were terrifying and awesome at the same time.

My work with hawksbill turtles was also amazing. Seeing the females lay their eggs, hear them breath so similar to a human, see the flippers move with the effort. And then the hatchlings weeks later...crawling out of the sand, so tiny and at the same time perfect. Seeing them scamper towards the ocean, until a big wave pulls them in.
