I was born in Saudi Arabia, originally from Sudan but have been in Canada all my life.I speak Arabic and I am Muslim. People are usually surprised in how much I love and practice my faith which just shows you how unfounded stereotypes are. I also appreciate and respect all faiths and love reading and learning about different philosophies. I love questions not assumptions. I like sharing not preaching or lecturing. I have an open mind, plus respect and appreciate all perspectives. Thats the essentials really, if your okay with the above than we will get along :)

I usually just hostel or stay with friends I have made throughout my travels. This is a great way to meet new people, budget, and discover things about the city that only a local dweller would know.. It's a win win!

Anything and everything. I love learning and experiencing new things, from culture, language, religion, ideas, politics, race, environment, infrastructure...you get the idea.

Was part of the January 25, 2011 Tahrir protests during the Egyptian Revolution!

Have sand boarded on some of the tallest sand dunes in the world.

Slept in the middle of the Sahara dessert when I was 10 (not camping style, just a little mattress).. although not by choice.

Have taken and mastered the art of public transportation in Cairo (if you have been there, you would understand the feat in this :/ )

Have been detained/imprisoned by government heads before....oh the corruption
