Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've met very interesting people for almost one year hosting in Arequipa, Not only learnt from them their motivations of travel, but also the meaning of life. I'd like to show you some of their reasons. Some are in Spanish, others are in English.

"Travel is a way of living and if as a traveler you really want to be inspire, to change and open your mind, to increase your spirituality and get the ability to reflect on itself, you should know the whole forms, expressions and secrets of the society you are visiting, involve with local people, their culture, their customs and traditions, their dialect, the behavioral norms, in few words, know the ingredients for preparing regional food, that makes a travel be valuable and of course make friends all around the world who can help you out, give advices and recommendations."

Es un sueño que he tenido las ganas de hacer toda mi juventud y nunca tuve el valor y la decisión de hacerlo, hasta ahora. Se que no es un sueño barato y es por eso que necesito ayuda. No quiero que esa ayuda sea gratis, si me alojan con gusto los ayudo en la limpieza de su hogar, cocinar, aportar con mercadería, cuidar a sus hijos, ayudarlo a reparar o construir. O incluso trabajar, pero sin dinero (para cumplir las leyes laborales de los países). Sería un intercambio de favores :)”
