About Me
Hello! I work as a wildlife biologist in Zion National Park where I mainly study Mexican Spotted Owls, but also work on several projects with all of the incredible wildlife we have here. I also am an instructor for our search and rescue team where I teach technical climbing and canyon rescue as well as lead operations in the field and do patient care as an EMT. I am from Utah and love experiencing the wilderness here through any form of recreation.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love meeting new people and I think that this is the best way to travel and truly experience a culture when visiting a place.

Teach, Learn, Share
Throughout my life I have taught dozens of people rope skills to safely climb walls and travel through slot canyons as well as rescue themselves if they ever get in a bind. I love sharing my home with people when they come through and visit.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I like to think of myself as a good cook and absolutely love to make meals for people. If you want to learn how to climb or go canyoneering I love to teach people. Socially, I am happy with everything from relaxing and reading a book to partying with people or going out doing wild multi day climbs or canyons. I am just excited to meet new people and experience new cultures.
