About Me

I'm a music lover, interested in all things media, enjoying life and trying to travel the world (well, who on CS doesn't). I love going to the movies, Lasagne, Karneval (western German tradition) and deep voices or instruments!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To me, CS is all about give-and-take. While I really like staying on other people's couches and getting to know them and their life, I try to host myself as often, too. I want to keep the network alive, positive and trustworthy.
I've already been able to experience Couchsurfing from various views: Surfing couches in Istanbul, different places in Germany, Sweden and Canada, hosting various people myself, but also sharing some coffees and nice talks with other Couchsurfers.

Interests

Listening to Music, but also playing it myself (guitar, tenorsaxophone, clarinet and hobo).
I enjoy spending time with my friends, either going out or just hanging out together while enjoying a drink =)

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm into TV series, such as Brooklyn Nine-Nine, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel or Der Tatortreiniger (German one 😉). When it comes to movies, I'm a huge Disney Animation Fan and have seen most of them more than once. And at the moment, you can win my heart with watching superhero-stuff, regardless if it's a series or movie. Also awesome: Inside Llewyn Davis, The Secret Life of Walter Mitty.
I love music, both listening to it and playing it myself. My taste in music is rather broad and I'm always open to check out new artists, as long as the song has a melody. At the moment, I'm really fond of soul and jazz.
I'm not that big of a reader, but when I'm on vacation (the relaxing less active kind) I love to read. One of my favourites: Brave New World and various mystery novels (especially those of Henning Mankell and Larsson's Millenium Trilogy).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hitchhiking in Canada by myself and meeting the most wonderful people thanks to it! Traveling through the country for eight months. Living in Sweden for 6 months. Both trips were more than awesome and I just made my to-travel-list even bigger.

Teach, Learn, Share

I buy a sticker of every town or country I travel and put it on my suitcase. Maybe you know the prettiest one? And I'm always open to new food and languages =)

What I Can Share with Hosts

The most obvious skill would be my mothertongue, I'm happy to teach you a bit! Maybe say over a nice dinner? People say, that I can cook quite well; plus, I like spoiling people, so I guess that goes together perfectly. Also, I could sing a couple of songs with my guests or hosts in case you are into making music.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belgium, Canada, Croatia, Denmark, France, Greece, Indonesia, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Tunisia, Turkey, United Kingdom, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
