About Me

I am from Augsburg, Germany. Part of my family is from Poland, the other from Germany. I am in my mid 30s and travelled different countries, in different ways. Hotel, dormitories, camping, wild camping, bike backing, hitchhiking, couple of couchsurfings back in my younger days with a friend. When I am travelling I mainly focus on the culture, culinary culture, history and flora and fauna of a place. Mostly nature and just food acutally. Generally I like the serenity in the morning and evening and try to evade the buzz. But that's flexible. Sometimes I also like to go dancing (Latin and Swing dances). I listen to any kind of music and also sing and play. Enough to entertain myself. Nothing to boast with. Besides that I like physical activites such as basketball and outdoor fitness. Especially in the forest, at any kind of weather. So yeah, that's it!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

No idea. I used it like many, many years ago when I used to travel with my friend. But mainly I am a solo traveller and just doing/deciding things on the go. However, I do like the idea of meeting locals and just spending a day or evening chatting or being guided through the place/city and learn about the history of the person and the place. So let's see. Don't have a definitive answer to that question yet.

Music, Movies, and Books

acutally any. Can't judge if I haven't tried it

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Making a song and going travelling in an unorthodox way. Definitevly not a lazy, relax vacation. Maybe when I am older and do not have the young energy anymore.

Teach, Learn, Share

Anything and nothing. I am an allrounder of things, so there's things I can share but not very in-depth.

What I Can Share with Hosts

No idea. As mentioned, I just returned to CS after many years. Have to gather some exp to see what is of value for a host. I guess just being inquisitve?

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Colombia, Costa Rica, Czech Republic, England, Germany, Italy, Japan, Poland, Scotland, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland

Countries I’ve Lived In
