Hello fellow travelers!

If I get the chance to host you at my place in Helsinki, I can offer you a couch, good conversations, and some tips on what to do in Finland and around Helsinki. If my schedule allows—and you are up for it—I can also give you a tour of the city and show you some of my favorite places!

The reason why I am on Couchsurfing? I have always been interested in foreign cultures and people—the possibility of expanding my frame of reference by getting to know people from different backgrounds and cultures is something that I have always derived deep energy and motivation from!

I would describe myself as a social, spontaneous, open, and easy-to-get-along-with type of person. Most of my time is taken up by my occupation—which I love—helping our customers with their work through software solutions. Although I'm quite serious on the corporate world, for balance I also enjoy laidback traveling with different types of trips, such as remote working abroad for weeks, solo backpacking, and going on a hitchhiking trip across the Baltics. Some of my friends have said that I have a very versatile personality, a compliment I take to heart.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

On top of the above-mentioned points, I am quite passionate about traveling, and Couchsurfing seems like a good way to combine socializing and helping out other fellow travelers. I believe that Couchsurfing is a great platform to meet new people from around the world and share stories and experiences!
