ABOUT ME
Well, I joined the CS community for a little while now, for the last year and a half I've been studying in the US, so I do speak some Americano, amigo! :D
I am always curious about the world, its landscapes, its cultures and more importantly its people, I'd like to think that we have more similarities than differences. and there is nothing more practical than experiencing it and discovering that myself, that's why I came to CS.
There simply isn't a feeling like any other when you meet complete strangers and turn them into a group of warm and amicable friends
"Know thyself", I have to understand myself better, travelling is definitely one of the best way to find out more.
How I like meeting someone:
"Meeting someone new and hitting it off well enough to call them a friend is spiffy!" - Sims 3
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've joined multiple events in Bangkok, Tallinn and Saint Petersburg while I was travelling . I surfed several times but haven't get the chance to host yet.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Joined multiple events, met some fellow csers and have surfed in Berlin and Saint Petersburg.
Surfed multiple times in Iran, hosted once back home
Interests
Travelling no doubt, needless to say it's an essence of life
Anthropology, of course! All the cultures fascinate me and they always give me the itch to travel more, see more and experience more;)
Reading, just to give an impression for being an intelligent and cultured person, haha, but seriously nothing(or maybe (x)420) beats reading a good book
Surfing... the web (what's life without internet?)
Fencing
Want to learn
To play some folk music, or simply any kind of music
I am trying to learn some basic Russian, it comes in handy in a lot of countries.
Music, Movies, and Books
It depends on my mood, from classical pieces to 80s pop, basically everything.
I try to watch a movie from each of the countries I've visited, for Hong Kong I recommend "Infernal Affairs", the original story of Martin Scorsese's "The Departed"
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Watched the sunlight fading away at Akershus Festning.
Escorted back to safety by the military in Nagorno-Karabakh.
Became a Korean superstar in Iran.
Met all the warm and amazing folks along the road.
