Overview
About Me
I'm born and raised in Brazil, and also naturalized Italian since my mid-20s. I moved from Brazil to India when I was 18 years old for a 1 year exchange program, and ended up moving along 8 countries on the following years. After years of incredible experiences, it's now 10 years I'm happily settled in Amsterdam, a city I never stop exploring and admiring.
I mostly host when I also have free time, as I enjoy hanging out, showing the city or simply taking time to give information.
I enjoy going out at night (not much into clubs, though) as much as I enjoy a lazy day chilling in a park or at home. It's the Dutch weather that pretty much dictates what's best!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet new people to host and/or hang out with.
Interests
I'm pretty obsessed with learning languages, and I like geography and pretty much every cuisine - but not really the Dutch one (sorry not sorry 🤷♂️😂). I specially like Iranian, Indian, Italian, Vietnamese, Polish and Brazilian food.
I like (almost) all kinds of music with preference for rock and also fusion between traditional/modern sounds. I'm specially interested in cinema and can spend hours watching documentaries about movies; my favourite directors are David Lynch and Stanley Kubrick. I also enjoy checking architecture and consider myself an "urbex" (I just learned this word, check it, maybe you are too ;)
I sporadically paint as a hobby (= 3 paintings in 5 yrs 😁) and I'm not an art expert but can talk hours about Van Gogh and Edward Hopper.

Teach, Learn, Share
I enjoy to have the opportunity (and time) to share nice talks and experiences with people from different walks of life. Sharing a meal, music, random trivia, memes and funny youtube videos are very welcome too.
