About Me

I am a student in Boston, I've lived here all my life. If I were to host, I’d say that my apartment honestly isn't amazing but my family would never leave a person in need out on the streets if they asked, we have like 4 vacant rooms anyway at the moment. I am 5'2 but pretty freaking energetic. I LOVE music, seriously. I live for going to shows, crowdsurfing and stagediving. I feel powerful when I get on stage idk haha. I've gone to a show while I had a concussion and I've walked over the border from Canada to the US after a show, very casual.

I'm very laid back, I guess. I'm a total goofball. I don't know how else to present my real self to you other than giving you my twitter which is @LLKEPACIFIC yes that is two L's and two I's so you can creep on my account if you are curious haha.

In the time between going to these shows and when I have to leave to the next city, I would love to hangout with locals. I don’t have enough time everywhere to create deep bonds with all the hosts, but I am willing to try to get to know as many people in every different city as I can! I think it’s a great thing to have friends in many places, even understanding the culture of people in the midwest when we live in the same country is so important. I believe traveling and getting to know locals helps to lessen ignorance.

Did I mention that I kinda love Canada?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I hope this doesn't sound crazy but I travel for concerts and would like to find some locals to stay with? I've travelled as far as Toronto for some punk bands I love and I'll be heading out again to the midwest for them mid July. I also just see myself doing this a lot and it doesn't hurt to support this kind of community on here. This is really totally cool and I wish more people were open to this idea!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: My three favorite bands are Like Pacific, Homesafe, and ROAM. It's okay if you've never heard of them, I guess they're pretty "underground." I listen to a lot more though.

Movies: I'm not so sure what my favorite movie is anymore but I don't mind watching anything Marvel!

Books: Americanah, The Great Gatsby, Doll’s House/Dollhouse, Joy Luck Club, The Hate U Give, Bad Feminist

I really sound like your typical teenage girl huh

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Besides everything music related, my family is from Haiti so I vacation there often but it was good one year to be able to provide for all the kids to enjoy a festival that happens in my town annually. My family doesn't have much but one thing we all like to do is give.

Teach, Learn, Share

The only things I’ve retained from high school honestly are things I’ve learned in a course called Facing History & Ourselves. Easily the greatest course I’ve taken. I will be studying international relations/affairs and political science. I can and will gladly share so much about Haitian culture with you. I’m hoping to finally learn how to drive soon!! But that’s just one thing I want to learn.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I think my humor and crazy concert experiences. I'm not sure a lot of people understand my humor but I am joking about 80% of the time.

Countries I’ve Visited
