Overview
About Me
Hi there! I'm Kofi Opoku Amankwa, born in 1989 in Kumasi, Ghana, but Bologna has been my home since 1999. I’m a cheerful and outgoing person who loves making friends with everyone, no matter their background. I speak decent English, so communication won’t be an issue!
I’m a certified electrical technician and work in the electrical field, but my true passion lies in IT, which I pursue in my free time. I’m always curious and eager to learn new things, both professionally and personally.
I love traveling and discovering new places. I believe every journey is an opportunity to grow and enrich oneself. Even though I’m not a big sports enthusiast, I enjoy playing football with friends and colleagues; I’ve tried the gym, but it’s just not for me.
I’m a huge fan of manga and anime, an interest that has stayed with me for many years and continues to grow. I love food and am always curious to try new dishes, especially when traveling. In general, I’m someone who loves life and is eager to make new experiences, meet different people, and discover what the world has to offer.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I joined Couchsurfing because I love traveling and discovering new places, but more importantly, because I believe that the true value of a journey lies in the people you meet along the way. I have a natural inclination to make new friends and open myself up to different cultures, so for me, Couchsurfing is the perfect opportunity to combine my passion for travel with the joy of meeting new people. I believe that sharing experiences with locals can greatly enrich any trip and create unforgettable memories.

What I Can Share with Hosts
I can offer my hosts a delightful culinary experience: if they allow me to use their kitchen, I’d be happy to prepare a delicious Jollof. Jollof is a traditional dish from West Africa, particularly popular in Ghana, made with rice cooked in a rich tomato sauce with a blend of spices, along with vegetables and sometimes meat or fish. It's a flavorful and vibrant dish that brings the taste and warmth of my homeland. In addition to that, I offer my good company, ready to share stories, experiences, and enjoyable conversations.
