ABOUT ME

Hello,

When I was born in that small town called Maychew, Northern Ethiopia, basically I was supposed to be in the earth in general, not to stay and die there (eating the local food, speaking the local language and domesticated in the local manner) but at the matter of opportunity, I never had a chance to travel all over the world, yet, thank to Couch Surfing the World has been coming to me.

Well, as all say, Kume(me) is just so much friendly, easy going and fun loving young man living in Addis Ababa. I finished my masters degree and after teaching at universities, teaching, I am now a consultant at the FES, German NGO.
Before I got to know Couch Surfing, I used to host many freinds that I know on other social networks and then with CS I can say that I`m an active member hosting many surfers which I really like as it help me to share a lot of experiences and know new people, new nice friends and had a great time. I had also many chances to just meet up with many CS members as to talk over tea and so far all of them are so nice, I really enjoyed awesome times.
I like to meet people from all over the globe, hanging out for coffee or drinks, watching movies, listening music of all kind. I like spending time with people who take everyone for who they are and can give time to get to know them before they make any judgement, of course when people travel so far from where they belong, there should be no expectations for the target destination of their travel to be same to their country or have everything like they can find back home. This is the main reason for a journey right, to enjoy the adventure, diversity in all matters. There should not be always complaining of things because it is some how different, isn't that the beauty or joy for one's travel?

Well as a Couch surfer you all are welcome to ma home. I can show you around and grab a cup of coffee. Anytime, you think to come to Ethiopia, you can ask for any information on how you can enjoy ur trip,

PHILOSOPHY

Regardless whoever one could be, what color she/he might have, no matter the language they speak, and wherever they could be from, I give priority to the rational animal HUMAN BEING! I like being optimist about things!
Though I have never been out of Ethiopia, CouchSurfing always brings the world to me. I met people of my life through CS. Yet looking forward to feel/live the world with couch surfing.
