About Me

COUCHSURFING IS NOT TINDER

●●●

joyful in life
hippie in the soul
anarchist in practice
netocrat by political views
music entertainer on specialty
singer, composer, keyboardist in fact

Perhaps I might be the most incredible and astonishing person you ever met before. If you'll let me.
Otherwise, together we'll manage lots of good fun or make it better than we were supposed to.
I promise to do my best in that case.
But keep remembering, please, that dialogue always belongs to actions from the both of included sides.

Alright, let's talk more specifically.

The first and the most important thing you should know about me is that I've been married to music since I reached like 6 months in the womb. My crazy father was snuggling his headphones to my mother's tummy saying, "My child must learn what a piece of really good music exactly is!"

To my surprise, there weren't so many girls in my class who used to like honestly Megadeth, Marilin Menson, Sepultura, Metallica, and Slayer as I did. But, of course, it's not a full list of the bands I grew up from.

Also, my lucky arranged marriage taught me to deeply understand Moby and Robert Miles, to plunge into the universe of Eduard Artemyev and Hans Zimmer, to go mad with Daft Punk and MC Bomfunk, to sincerely respect Queen and Nirvana, and finally to find shelter in Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong.

Music is an international language. And I know plenty of its dialects.

Essential information for producers, DJ's, and creators, who are interested in collaboration:
• I work in the Reaper DAW (It's not a religious view, but an argued choice. Come on, everybody knows you can even fry potato in there.)
• My little home studio is currently localized in Ukraine.
• I have a mic Sennheiser E 945 and my DELLy laptop on i5 6th GEN, gonna to complete this mobile setup sooner.
• I'm not a sound designer, I'm a music composer.
• For now, I'm about to collect a portfolio and some content for social networks. That's the reason why with great pleasure I'll join any activities like jamming or practicing, and ways to mix and share our knowledge and ideas, following a clear interest. But if we'll kill the crowd and earn some money, that's also a nice bonus. Don't get me wrong why such a "talented and experienced" person still doesn't have all of it. I really didn't give a shit to make media by traveling and experimenting for the last 6 years. But what I've made a few years ago makes me sick and quite shame even when I'm just sharing it with my closest friends. A lot of water under the bridge.
• My preferable repertoire cover list is about 60-70 popular and less popular songs in blues, rock, jazz, and pop, most of those are in English. So we can refresh this old junk and make it modern together. Any crazy ideas are welcomed.
• I have a few of my songs for the first EP. And I'm working on it every time I get motivated or find an ability.

For any others:
• I prefer to communicate with people who've got an aesthetic, book, gastronomic and musical tastes. It's really perfectly fine if you know yourself and can recognize what you need and why. I appreciate the people's honesty most of all!
• In-depth philosophical conversations are the favorite pastime for me. Exchanging books, useful links, materials, and stories are things that help us to unite and find common ground.
• Besides music and philosophy, I'm interested in marketing, corporate conflict management, sociology, biology, art, psychology, and subcultures.
• I can creatively cook "the soup from the ax" (a Slavic sustainable expression from the folk eponymous tale, that means "shut your mouth up, fucking whiner, and help yourself preparing a meal from everything you've got here")

Usually I:
• explain things intelligibly
• depend on the desire and inspiration
• dispose of resources and prioritize competently
• see different opportunities in the surrounding world

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Travel to Europe and Asia. I am actively seeking a music community where I wish to dive headfirst. The priorities of searches are musical jam sessions, free microphones, and places for freedom of creative expression (starting with small scenes in cafes and ending at the stadiums at which I can play something on an upcoming festival).

Sincerely configured on cultural exchanges, mutual aid, and the practice as "zero waste" or "no consumption".

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have some experience in a journalism, marketing, organization, social activism, and bartending either.

For example, I organized a two-day Forum YouLead in my hometown* with AISEC team (2013).
The first day — www.youtube.com/watch?v=_beo6iskMLQ (find me on 1:55-1:57) :P
The second day — www.youtube.com/watch?v=WIx2NNplAV8
The journalist from SVIK-TV interviews speakers — www.youtube.com/watch?v=nUAS2VhkRnY

* I cannot consider it as my home-hometown as I have been changing places to live since childhood, but there I spent quite a lot.
