Overview
About Me
I currently reside in a traditional Japanese-style house in Kita-Hiroshima, Hiroshima, Japan.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Please carefully read the following information before making your request.
I currently reside in the countryside, approximately one hour north of Hiroshima City.
I would like to extend an invitation to individuals from outside Japan who are interested in experiencing our local culture and rural lifestyle. My curiosity extends to meeting people from diverse cultural backgrounds.
It is important to note that my intention in offering my house for your stay is to provide an opportunity for you to immerse yourself in our culture and traditions, including KAGURA shows.
My traditional Japanese-style house is situated in the countryside of Hiroshima, about one hour away from Hiroshima JR Station by highway bus. If you possess a JR Pass, you can utilize JR highway buses from Hiroshima Station to reach our town for free. If you do not have a JR Pass, you will need to cover the cost of the highway buses.
I must mention that I am primarily available to host guests on weekends and holidays.
If you are open to cooking together, sharing dishes from your country for dinner, assisting with household and land maintenance, or sharing your experiences with us, we would greatly appreciate it.
Our hometown is renowned for Kagura, a traditional Japanese Shinto dance. If you plan to visit, we can arrange for you to witness this captivating Kagura performance.
However, due to the high volume of requests I receive, I may not be able to respond to all inquiries promptly, although I will make every effort to do so.
