Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Connect and hang out. With CS I feel I have a friend anywhere in the world and have met some of my best friends through this app. It’s amazing that thanks to this common spirit I have spent Christmas eves and new years eves abroad in good company instead of by myself when I travel and always felt at home, anywhere I go, even if I don’t speak the local language or know anything about the country. Every day can be an adventure and that’s beautiful.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Went to Kenya and Ethiopia as a volunteer to help construct houses and orphanages for Caritas foundation. I had no experience in construction or lifting bricks, just the will to help. Did this for 9 years every summer while in school and college.
