One wish to request, one shall read me completely from first to very end, otherwise, how would I know your sincerity?

By the previous negative experience from single males asked to stay over a week but without giving clear intension, travel plan and information from what I asking in my profile, so all the request of asking to visit over 1 night will be denied if the request is not showing enough information about themselves and plans of visiting and you need to confirm with me that you read the house rules which you can find them in the section about my home.

As now I am working a lot for my dream, so I have very limited free time and energy in day to day life. After hosting various traveler here in my home studio, I will filter out the people I won't be interested to host, because from last December, I have had 4~5 sufers every month, and the extra cleaning and laundry works start getting tiring, so these are the people I specific will not host or meet: 1, use couchsurfing for dating. 2. use couchsurfing for free place to stay and not giving back any effort to engage with the host and house rules and cleaness. 3. Need to go party or drinking alcohol. 4. people who cannot give effort on making clear and detailed request. Remember, hosts here are trying to help the strangers who isnt meet you in person, you need to show your keen and intension and plans as much detailed as possible for earning the first impression of yourself, make sure youre bringing positive energy to people who is trying to help you, not just "hey i want to stay with you can you host me." This kind of sentveles I've read too much and it looked ridiculous to me.

If you are one of the traveler who struggling with money for accommodation, I will help u for a few nights if u tell me that you need help and being struggling.

If u are in a prolonged travel, state your travel and your plan, I will help you and you can relax and rest at mine for some days.

If you are asking many days without details, plans, and even lack references, I dont know how to help, I take my personal space quite seriously and I don't know how to deal with people just want to stay for free as long as possible and maybe looking for holiday sweetheart along the way, please don't make my life complicated, I'm not running a free hostel or brothel here, if any one needs stay longer term can always try talk to me if u can offer some help or language exchange for longer accommodation, I even know a room available to rent monthly nearby mountains in Taipei.

Now i find to host 2~3 nights is a comfortably preferred, I have thin walls here, i can't really sleep with any noise, so 2~3 nights not good sleeping nights reach my capacity. and I expect surfers will give effort on connecting with host during the visit, so that's why I demand to have clear detailed request so that I know what you want from the visit then I can see if i feel comfortable to host you.

As I mentioned I work a lot and I also work at home, so sufer wont have privacy as staying in my living room, sometimes I watch movie from projector sometimes I need to work in public area, so please don't think I will give sufer the whole room, I live here, and im trying to help a stranger without any expectation, so don't try to make me feel shit in my own space.

Please understand, im in a position that trying to make some room to help people, in fact, my plate is way to full, like im at capacity, and my finance is very tight, so please ask yourself first, if you need the free things more, there's 7 million people living in Taipei, you can find better host who can serve you better than me, but if you seek for a real life time friendship, you can try to contact me.

I'm a hippie, my space is in a hipster's area in Taipei city center where well connected with all sorts of public transportations.
I'm open to host people who has good sense of boundary and respect, and who doesn't use couchsurfing as freeloading spot or for sexual purposes.
So I don't really keen on hosting single male traveler, you can try to compose a request, the chance isn't at 0. Bigger chance if you come from the UK or some parts of Europe, I traveled and lived in the UK and Europe so I feel more emotional connected with the people over this region.
I do prefer to host people who is or willing to adapt with vegetarian or vegan diet in the flat, which means don't try to order/bring/cook meat at mine, there's a night market just 5 mins away that u can enjoy the meaty food outside :)
No alcoholism strictly, the space is all green.
I missed loads requests bcz I don't get notifications from couchsurfing, you just need to try and try, I'm not comfortable with putting my contact online.
