CURRENT MISSION

My immediate mission is to find a life in Berlin! I love this city and I want to stay and get to know it better .

ABOUT ME

I am a 32 year old aussie gal- I'm friendly, open minded, pretty down to earth, genuine and I have a healthy attitude! Dance is my main passion, mainly contact-improvisation, contemporary, swing and tango but I love all kinds of dance and movement practises including martial arts, capoeira, yoga and acro-yoga/acrobalance. Years ago I was a professional performer/ singer/ actress but these days my interests are in the therapeutic and healing arts and I have since studied naturopathy, kinesiology, permaculture, birth attendant (doula) course and I'm currently studying Body Mind Centering in Germany. I guess you could say I'm an active, creative type ;-) Also I love MUSIC, meditation, good conversation, cooking, being in nature, going to see live bands, good food and really good coffee (cafe hopping!), meeting cool new people and generally going on crazy, unexpected adventures in life. This seems to happen to me a lot! Um, I dont smoke (only sometimes when I go out), I'm not interested in taking drugs anymore (dancing is my drug of choice) but I do like to go out a bit and have a few drinks with friends (when I'm not already out dancing somewhere!). I like to eat organic food, organic meat also but I'm mainly vegetarian these days, and I'm generally not interested in watching TV but I love reading and watching good films and being in good company.

PHILOSOPHY

I think life is about learning.

Learning 'who are we? and what does it mean to be human?'

Transcending the 'human condition', discovering joy and bliss!(As corny as it may sound..)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Pretty new to the couch surfing scene, I haven't hosted yet because I've been travelling, but when I finally settle somewhere I look forward to having some guests!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Only one place in Tasmania, Australia, it was a pretty good experience. Living with a very interesting family in the mountains, they were slightly wacky but really generous...

In no particular order: travelling, discovering and learning new things, making new friends, gardening/permaculture/eco-philosophy, cycling, dogs, writing, building community, natural birthing, womens' 'business', any and all types of dancing (specially with a partner), bodywork/massage, healing, walking in nature, the banjo (!), The Muppets!, singing, connecting with people, relaxing, listening to music, road trips, hanging out with friends, getting high on living.
