About Me
I'm currently floating around, I work 3 months on/3 months off so I'm not living in Lauderdale but will be there periodically. If you need tips or any info I'm more than happy to share though!
Thrill seeker of sorts. I love to laugh and make others laugh. Never in a rush but always punctual. I've been described as "calming" "very chill" and "Canadian". I love to meet people on CS for the kindness and culture. I've had countless experiences with hosts and guests alike, never a single bad one!
PHILOSOPHY
(2 quotes I think are relevant here)
Laugh at yourself and at life. Not in the spirit of derision or whining self-pity, but as a remedy, a miracle drug, that will ease your pain, cure your depression, and help you to put in perspective that seemingly terrible defeat and worry with laughter at your predicaments, thus freeing your mind to think clearly toward the solution that is certain to come. Never take yourself too seriously. Laughter is the shortest distance between two people.
Sooner or later we all discover that the important moments in life are not the advertised ones, not the birthdays, the graduations, the weddings, not the great goals achieved. The real milestones are less prepossessing. They come to the door of memory unannounced, stray dogs that amble in, sniff around a bit and simply never leave. Our lives are measured by these.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
We are so often caught up in our destination that we forget to appreciate the journey, especially the goodness of the people we meet on the way. Appreciation is a wonderful feeling, don't overlook it.
Surfing: I am probably the easiest guest in the world. I can figure out my way to your place, and I have loved every one of my hosts. I absolutely love the positivity and love from each host I have. I'm personable so I'l talk but I know when to listen, I like to sing even if I'm horrible at it. The only thing that makes me difficult is that I don't know exactly when or exactly where I will be going.
Hosting: I've hosted over 60 people when I lived in Orlando and I have loved every one of my guests! Such great memories and I can't wait to be able to host again!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I surfed several hosts throughout Europe, USA, Central America, Asia and Aus/NZ and have hosted many in Orlando. It has been a blast and I love all the different cultures that came through my house,

I am an older soul with a thirst for adventure and abnormally comfortable stepping outside my comfort zone. I have the travel bug, I like to scuba dive, hike, camp, hitchhike, longboard, go to the springs, beach, swim.. Anything with the ocean or being in the sun and beautiful outdoors!
I love music festivals too so if there happens to be any where I travel I would most definitely go!
