About Me

CURRENT MISSION

My mission is to experience as much out of life as possible and to learn about other cultures and people.

ABOUT ME

Working is important to me and allows me the time to pursue other interests like traveling, learning about other cultures, spending time at the shore, and enjoying life. Passions are numerous: Food, music, people with something to say, sunset, hot tub, visiting new cities, etc... My life has me still in the Washington Rat Race...which has a strong commitment to work culture but I can balance this with a strong commitment to Bohemian culture too! Providing kindness to a stranger is something I like to do in part because I have received so much kindness from strangers during my travels to over 70+ countries.

PHILOSOPHY

Making a positive impact in this world is key to describing a primary goal in my life. A successful person is someone that uses their gifts from God to help other people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I participate in CS2 by hosting members when possible and sharing this site with my travel friends. I share my experiences and what I have learned. Whether someone is young or old or any race or sex or whatever AND if they are considerate and consciencious and need help in the Washington DC area please call on me.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted people from www.hospitalityclub.org and I have been hosted in many countries. While in St. Petersburg Russia several students looked after me over a period of days and I spent 4 days learning the city from their perspective...it was 100% emersion and I appreciated the small things we experienced...as well as the 5 hour boat rental on the Neva River!! I am still friends with these Russian students.

Interests

Interested in all types of music..including, rock, classical, R&B, Soul, pop, etc. Love visiting art galleries and museums. Travelling to other countries is of great interest. Collecting old amercan antique items. Spending quality time with family and friends. Enjoying wine and libations, and mother nature.
