Overview
About Me
I'd consider myself to be an extroverted introvert, who enjoys going on adventures, meeting new people, and learning new things. I love spending time in nature, hiking and camping; but I also can be a homebody who loves spending time cozied up with a good book, writing, and baking.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My favourite part of traveling is meeting new people, making new connections, and curating my own experiences unique to each place I visit. I enjoy exploring the places only locals know of and learning about the people and places I'm staying by the people who know it best. I hope that by being here I am able to meet people I otherwise would've never met, and to also bring my own experiences and knowledge to share.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music:
My all-time favourite artist is Sarah Kinsley. This September will be the second time I see her perform live! Highly recommend checking her out. My music taste is really diverse though and I love everything from country to rock to indie to folk, and even musical theatre.
Movies:
Little Miss Sunshine, Seeking a friend for the end of the world, Crazy Stupid Love, Last Christmas, Lovehard, Back to the Future, The Princess and the Frog
Books:
Similar to my taste in music, but I've been especially into the classics lately and have been trying to widen my knowledge of literature. My favourite book is Wuthering Heights (I always carry a copy with me, which I'll gladly share with you). Most recently I read The Handmaid's Tale, and I'm now re-reading Gone with the Wind!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Swimming through caves in Vietnam!
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: I can teach you to play the ukulele! I usually travel around with mine on road-trips. I also have my favourite board game with me, King of Tokyo, which I'll happily teach you to play. We can bake together (specifically bread, if you're into that). I'm still learning more advanced knitting techniques, but I can teach you to knit a scarf (or other beginner-friendly things of the like).
Learn: These might be a little niche, but I'd really like to learn to ice-skate and to rock climb this year! (I have my own pair of skates with me). I'm also always looking for new recipes to try (even better if they're vegetarian). Other things I'd like to learn: latte art, pottery, how to knit a sweater (I have the yarn and needles, I just need the courage to start), guitar, and any languages, but especially French and Spanish! Beyond that, I'm open to learning anything and everything that you can teach me. My current goal for this stage of my life is to become something like a renaissance woman.
Share: Music! Stories! Advice! Recommendations for where to go on my travels; I always find it's through word of mouth where I get the best advice and do's and don'ts that help shape my plans.
