1’m an easygoing and open-minded individual who loves meeting and hosting people at my house. Couchsurfing has been a great avenue for me to connect with individuals from various walks of life. However, I've come to realize that it presents its own set of challenges. Some people tend to form opinions based on their feelings towards your country, and I've encountered instances where hosts exaggerate or misrepresent the individuals they've hosted. This makes it challenging to gauge the kind of person one is about to host. I believe honesty in reviews is crucial to providing a more accurate picture of what to expect.

Although I haven't been hosted myself, I continue to welcome travelers into my home. I'm also in the process of understanding the intricacies of budget traveling. When you come to my house, I appreciate if you approach it with gratitude and understand that it may not offer the same amenities as Airbnb or hotels.

Regarding my home, I value it when guests ask before using my electrical appliances, as some operate differently from the norm. Safety is paramount, and I humorously emphasize that "you can't die in my house." Additionally, I have a bathroom with hand wash, and I kindly request that you wash your hands before using my kitchen. Leaving shoes by the door inside is appreciated, as I have indoor shoes available.

Let's make this experience work for both of us. I've had challenging experiences with some couples I hosted, and only one out of three was considerate. Mutual respect and understanding will contribute to a positive stay for everyone involved.

Kindly be aware that when visiting my home, it's essential to be considerate rather than burdensome. If possible, bring your own food or make arrangements to obtain it, as cooking or purchasing meals is optional for me due to work commitments and social engagements. I value honesty and don't set high expectations in that regard.

I provide a private room, bathroom, and kitchen for your use. Regarding kitchen chores, if you're not accustomed to washing dishes with hot water and soap in a proper manner, kindly refrain from attempting them, as I prefer to handle that task.

Personal hygiene is highly appreciated, and I trust that adults understand the importance of maintaining cleanliness, particularly in the context of bathing. I'll continue to update my guidelines to address any challenges that may arise.
