Overview
About Me
I believe borders, religion etc are all man made and serve only the powerful. If people across borders exchange their culture among each other, these man made borders seems non existent. The current situation of the world is not ideal politically, environmentally etc. However, I believe its through human interaction across different cultures and boundaries which can make people understand each other, making the world a better place for each other.
I find couchsurfing is probably the best social media platform if used with the right attitude. Honestly speaking travels and meeting new people have helped me gather more knowledge than my school text books !
As of me I was born in Kolkata although I have studied and worked in different parts of India like Rajasthan, Delhi, Sikkim etc. At present I work for the Indian Government in Siliguri. I am also involved in events relating to social services and volunteering in India. I used to host earlier in my home in Kolkata, then in Gangtok l, Sikkim where I worked for 4 years and now am hosting in Siliguri.
Work---Save Money---Travel-----Come back-----Work------Save Money-----Travel
Currently Stuck in this never ending loop !!! :D
Since I recieve a lot of requests here as there are very few active hosts and a lot of travelers visiting here, before sending the request kindly include the name 'AYRTON SENNA' at the beginning of your message. This will help me to understand whether you have gone through my profile or not.
MY PHILOSOPHY
I believe knowledge gives us power, experiences make us rich in the truest sesne and our actions makes us human. Go out try new things, meet new people learn something new everyday. We can lose money, power even loved ones but our experiences, our knowledge stays with us forever :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
A travel is incomplete unless you get a flavor of the local people and culture. The culture enriches us as a person , from the local people you learn and take back home a memory that lasts with you forever. Also its not possible to visit every places or countries in the world in our lifetime. But this platform allows these places to come to you in the form of people... when you meet someone from that place, somewhere you have never been. In short Couchsurfing enables me to expand my horrizon :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Kayaking in the Gulf of Thailand !!! So my friend and I were kayaking in Gulf of Thailand on a late afternoon. We were exploring the hidden, virgin beaches and while on our way back we encountered a storm with heavy rain and lightning striking all around us. Needless to say we were shit scared to death at that point, with waves getting bigger, lighting striking close by and winds taking the kayak towards the wrong direction. It was in the end, we were rescued by a big ferry and the people there pulled us up along with our little kayak from the rough sea ! It was one of the scariest but amazing experience I have ever had :D

Teach : I can teach you Indian languages like Bengali and Hindi. If you are interested in cocktails may be teach you making some cocktails :D
Learn: About different cultures by meeting new people while travelling or while hosting
