About Me

Hi, I’m Andrea, a communicator and traveler at heart. I joined Couchsurfing back in 2009 because I believe in the magic of meeting strangers who quickly feel like friends and make you feel at home anywhere in the world.

I work on projects that blend technology, emotional well-being, and creativity, but what moves me most is connecting with genuine people and learning from every story. I travel light, respect every space I enter, and love to cook or lend a hand whenever I stay with someone.

My Couchsurfing Style
• Open mind, open heart.
• I enjoy contributing—whether it’s preparing a meal or sharing quiet rituals like meditation.
• I love everyday adventures: wandering local markets, slow walks, and late-night conversations.

Not a Friendly Reminder!!!!
Couchsurfing is about friendship and cultural exchange, not dating. This community thrives on respect, trust, and hospitality. If you reach out, let it be to share the journey and discover a city together, nothing else.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

t all started when I was 17 and met a traveler from Colombia. From the very first minute, I admired how he explored the world with no fear or prejudice, free from all the social rules that tell you traveling alone is risky. His way of moving through the world fascinated me and opened my eyes to discovering cities through the people who actually live there.

Not long after, I joined Couchsurfing and found amazing friends who welcomed me into their homes and lives. I took few breaks, but I’ve come back with a deep sense of gratitude. This community gave me a second way of seeing life, and I’m still thankful—and excited—to keep sharing it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I’ve had so many moments that began with uncertainty and turned into unforgettable adventures—some I almost regretted at first, but now I wouldn’t trade for anything.
• Mendoza, Argentina (2010) – With zero climbing experience and the wrong gear, I hiked nearly five hours toward Aconcagua. Terrifying and incredible.
• Paris, France (2018) – Spent just five hours racing through the city’s most iconic spots, got stuck on a train during an electrical failure, and sprinted to catch my flight.
• China (2019) – Rode a bike across six- to eight-lane avenues in minutes, dodging traffic and laughing the whole time.
• Machu Picchu, Peru (2019) – Visiting this wonder of the world felt absolutely extraordinary—definitely a must-do!
• Salar de Uyuni, Bolivia (2019) – Discovered I had mild hypertension mid-trip and felt awful during the three-day journey, but witnessing that endless salt desert was worth it.
• Europe (2020) – What started as a three-month holiday turned into a six-month stay when COVID lockdowns left me “stranded,” creating unexpected friendships and memories.

Teach, Learn, Share

People say I’m very patient, and when it comes to sharing knowledge, I’m sure I’ll always find the right moment and way to dedicate the necessary time.
