About Me
Hello!
I am currently living in Italy for my Master's degree.
I am a friendly individual and I love traveling and meeting new people and hearing about their city from them. I have made a lot of friends along the way, learning from them and sometimes teaching them something (I hope).
I have travelled to a lot of countries (13 to be precise, I count Vatican City too, haha) and only want to extend this list as much as possible.
I made an account on Couchsurfing about 2 years ago but never got the chance to use it. I recently jumped back in and it seems like a really good way to connect and stay with locals to get the full experience of actually being in the city; something that I cannot get from a stay at a hotel or B&B.
In my opinion, having a glimpse of the life of a local can be much more enriching than any random city tour. I really look forward to such meaningful and engaging experiences!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to travel to new places, have an immersive experience, and make new friends.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Hozier, Sia and Adele.
Movies: Interstellar, Me before You, Schindler's List, The Pianist and many more.
I also like Game of Thrones, House of the Dragon, and similar shows with a complex political drama and charming dialogues, they scratch just the right part of my brain hahah.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I was visiting Paris, I walked about 56 kilometres in 2 days. I think it’s pretty amazing, my legs were shaking on the way to the airport. 🥸
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach others about my culture, the food there and also languages like Hindi and Bengali.
I can cook some Indian dishes but unfortunately, I am quite hindered by the matter of spices as I can’t carry my “spice box” along with me :(
I am very open to trying to have a conversation in the local languages, my goal would be to carry at least 10 positive words from my host’s native language. 🤔
