My name is Karel Maly and I'm 21 years old. I'm a guy from a small town in the Czech Republic who grew up in Strakonice. I currently live in Prague, I moved here for career growth. I played football at the highest youth level. Unfortunately, my health did not allow me to continue. But I love sports and I decided to go down the path of fitness. I used to go to medical school because I love helping people. And I'm interested in how the human body works. Now I'm studying at Charles University in the field of fitness trainer.
I love travelling and meeting new people. But most of all I'm interested in foreign culture. I've explored cultures in Africa and Asia. But I would love to explore all continents.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm here, because I believe travel is not about money. I also know from past experience that I get to know a country and culture better with local people. I love meeting new people and this is a great opportunity to meet people abroad or in my home country. And as I mentioned before. I'm a student who only works part-time and can't afford expensive accommodation or flights, so I'm looking for these great opportunities.

My favorite international artist is Travis Scott, I've been to his concert and it's just perfect. But I also love pop. Rihanna, for example.
I like Marvel movies the most. I don't watch a lot of TV shows.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was 18 just one day old (at 18 you become an adult in our country) , I bought tickets to Egypt to experience their culture. My parents never found out about it though and I really enjoyed the trip.
I am also proud of my career in football.
And most of all, it warms my heart that I saved two lives by using first aid and applying the knowledge I learned in high school.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can show you Prague as a local resident, the Czech Republic is a small country and you drive an hour everywhere. I would like them to experience everything in the Czech Republic and not just Prague, which is so famous
